What Difference Have We Made?
Over 250 students have been impacted by the initiative, the vast majority for more than one year
Over half of these students are classified as educationally at-risk due to demographic and/or environmental factors
Nearly 80,000 hours of quality preschool education have been provided to students whose families could not afford these hours
Students educationally at-risk experienced the greatest percentage of these initiative-funded hours
Kindergarten readiness has increased by 20% with the most dramatic improvements seen in student literacy – a key element of future school success
In 2019, 96% of students attending these pre-school programs for at least a year were assessed as fully prepared for Kindergarten
